Midweek Mindfulness Reset

Event Details:  Every Wednesday, 11-11:30 AM ET (via Zoom), beginning June 10, 2026

Reduce your stress, calm your nervous system, and reset.

Sit with a rotating group of some of the most influential instructors in the mindfulness space, including monastics from the Plum Village tradition. Each session offers a variety of mindfulness practices and insights to support your well-being. It’s the perfect reset to mark the middle of your week!

We will meet virtually via Zoom every Wednesday from 11:00–11:30 AM ET (and you’re welcome to stay for an optional ~15 additional minutes for sharing and community building). Open to all; no experience needed.

Jon Kabat-ZinnJon Kabat-Zinn
Jon Kabat-Zinn, Ph.D. did his doctoral work in molecular biology at MIT in the laboratory of the Nobel Laureate, Salvador Luria. He is Professor of Medicine emeritus at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, where he founded the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society (in 1995), and (in 1979) its world-renown Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Clinic. He is the author of 15 books, the most recent of which are Mindfulness Meditation for Pain Relief (2023), and a Thirtieth Anniversary Edition of Wherever You Go, There You Are 2024). Others include Full Catastrophe Living, Wherever You Go, There You Are, and Mindfulness for Beginners. In 2018/2019, he published a series of four volumes updating and expanding the 2005 edition of Coming to Our Senses: Meditation is Not What You Think; Falling Awake; The Healing Power of Mindfulness; and Mindfulness for All. His books are published in over 45 languages. His work has contributed to a growing movement of mindfulness into mainstream institutions such as medicine, psychology, health care, neuroscience, schools, higher education, business, social justice, criminal justice, prisons, the law, technology, government, and professional sports. Over 700 hospitals and medical centers around the world now offer MBSR. Jon lectures and leads mindfulness workshops and retreats around the world and online. Ordained as a monk since 2003, Brother Phap Luu (Brother Stream) received Transmission of the Lamp from Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh to teach in 2011. He helped start Wake-Up, the international movement for young people, as well as the Happy Farm, Plum Village’s organic farming community, and has been working with Wake-Up Schools since its inception in 2012 to bring mindfulness to schools. He has served as a monastic editor several of Thich Nhat Hanh’s books including Happy Teachers Change the World, Stepping into Freedom, Cracking the Walnut, The Admonitions and Encouraging Words of Master Guishan, and How to Focus. Brother Phap Luu leads mindful backpacking retreats in nature around Deer Park Monastery in Escondido, California and has been working lately with scientists at Dartmouth College and Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health to develop research on the effect of Plum Village mindfulness practices on children. Brother Phap Luu serves on the Advisory Board of the Thich Nhat Hanh Center for Mindfulness in Public Health at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

Tara HealeyTara Healey
Tara Healey is the founder and director of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care’s Mind the Moment mindfulness program. Tara joined Harvard Pilgrim as a health educator and organizational development professional in its HR department, a position which she occupied for over 20 years. In that role she served as coach, strategist, program designer and facilitator. It was in this capacity that she brought an introductory mindfulness course to Harvard Pilgrim’s own staff members in 2006, long before mindfulness had hit the mainstream. Since then, Tara has created a comprehensive suite of mindfulness workshops and courses that have been conducted at over 200 organizations across the U.S., in a variety of industries. Additionally, Tara has spoken about mindfulness at numerous events domestic and abroad and has contributed articles to Mindful Magazine and the Harvard Business Review blog. Tara became a student of mindfulness over 20 years ago and sits silent retreats annually.

Zeenat PotiaZeenat Potia
Zeenat Potia teaches meditation in Buddhist and secular spaces and is an Internal Family Systems practitioner. She integrates mindfulness and IFS in her trauma healing work, and is currently on a path to becoming a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She serves on the board of the Insight Meditation Society in Barre, MA. Zeenat has taught at the Cambridge Insight Meditation Center since 2014, as well as teaching meditation in organizations and universities throughout the Boston area. Trish Hart

Trish Hart is the Senior Program Manager for the Thich Nhat Hanh Center for Mindfulness in Public Health at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, where she leads the coordination and implementation of the Center’s core mindfulness programs. A dedicated mindfulness practitioner and teacher, she has supported corporate mindfulness initiatives and has led a Plum Village–based sangha on Boston’s South Shore for many years. She is trained in and teaches multiple contemplative traditions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC), Ananda meditation, and Yoga Nidra. She is also a YACEP-500 therapeutic yoga instructor, sound therapist, and Kripalu-certified Mindful Outdoor Guide. Trish designs and facilitates evidence-informed mind–body programs, lectures widely, and leads mindfulness-based trainings and retreats that integrate mindfulness, movement, and nature-based practices. She has advanced training through Duke Integrative Medicine’s Mindfulness for Professionals program and the Benson-Henry Institute, where she is a certified SMART (Stress Management and Resiliency Training) facilitator. An Integrative Health and Wellness Coach trained through Duke, she regularly leads nature-infused, mindfulness-focused retreats in the Boston area, Sedona, and internationally.
